Lenny Pearce Austin Concert reviews
Metric good, show promotor bad
This show should have been promoted better. I don't blame the band, I'm sure they knew they were going on at midnight the whole time. Everyone I spoke to at the show thought the band was supposed to go on at 9 and was very antsy by the time the band actually took the stage by 12:15am. Why would you promote a show to start at 9pm when it wouldn't actually be starting until midnight? Don't get me wrong, the show was very good. They sounded great and put on a great performance, but it didn't really matter because I was already irritated that I had rushed to get to a show and then had to wait 3 hours for it to start. There wasn't even an opening act.
